ESG Sustainable Development: Low-Carbon Diet and Healthy Living Seminar

Linkupon has long been committed to energy conservation and carbon reduction. This year, we specially invited Lecturer Lin, Caiqun to hold a seminar on March 4, 2025, to demonstrate practical methods for "Low-Carbon Diet and Healthy Living.“

At the beginning of the seminar, Lecturer Lin pointed out that many energy-saving and carbon-reduction policies often remain as slogans, making them difficult to implement effectively. However, if we start with our daily diet and lifestyle habits, we can not only effectively reduce carbon emissions but also improve our health.

The seminar was engaging and informative, allowing us to gain an in-depth understanding of carbon emissions in daily aspects such as food, clothing, housing, and transportation while also analyzing recent food safety issues and toxic risks. For instance, barbecued, fried, and processed foods most people love, have a high carbon footprint and also pose health concerns. Additionally, Lecturer Lin provided practical guidelines for healthy eating, showing us that even sausages can be eaten in a healthier way. He also taught us how to choose and properly supplement health products to ensure optimal nutrition.

The seminar was rich in content and never felt dull. Everyone listened attentively as they took notes with full concentration. This seminar not only deepened our understanding of low-carbon diets but also reminded us that change starts with ourselves. Every small choice we make can have a positive impact on both the environment and our health.
